Yaskawa EU and Fizyr have defined a non-exclusive go-to-market strategy for Europe, with the goal to facilitate the implementation of robotic automation that relies on AI-based computer vision. The agreement is designed to increase focus on warehouse logistics, highlighting solutions in high-speed item picking, automatic parcel sorting, palletization, depalletization and trailer unloading.
The two companies are working towards an integration, and ‘out of the box’ solutions to provide more seamless project launches for logistics automation. “We are looking forward to growing the partnership with Fizyr to help our System Integrators integrate robotic systems seamlessly,” says Pär Tornemo, Senior Vice President YASKAWA Europe Robotic Division and Managing Director of YASKAWA Nordic AB.
A primary goal is to enable integrators to make the process of implementing robots with computer vision much easier. Integrators will be offered robots with an integrated Fizyr Vision Packs, which are designed for easy deployment. Pre-sales support, as well as training and support for robots and software, will be provided during the process of robot system design, installation, and final operation.
“By partnering with Yaskawa to simplify this process, we have enabled the integrators to deliver their “best of breed” solutions to market more quickly. Fizyr Panoptic™ vision software is built for fast rollout, and we’re really excited to show the upgraded integration with Yaskawa robots, ” says Ken Fleming, CEO Fizyr.
Formal training and commercialization is rolling out in Q1 2025 to key Yaskawa EU integration partners.
